Pittsburgh, PA - March 7, 2008 - Prima Problem Solving, a business specialist and brokerage firm with offices in Pittsburgh and State College, PA, has added Operational Specialist Services to its menu of offerings. The new division will focus on manufacturing and operational improvements in the powder metal industry, as well as in other pressing/processing/machining type companies, with emphasis on issues for which independent external support is not typically available, such as difficult to solve pressing and tooling problems or new product launches.

"From manufacturers to end users, clients of our new Operational Specialist Services will have direct access to consummate professionals with the tools and knowledge to quickly provide solutions to problems," said Rocco Petrilli, Managing Partner of PRIMA Problem Solving.

Powder metal industry veteran Steven G. Meyer and William Jandeska, Ph.D., a long time leading global automotive industry expert, will lead the new initiative.

Meyer brings over 20 years experience in powder metal plant operations and maintenance management. He is a veteran of two start-up initiatives and highly skilled in tooling, press set up and equipment maintenance.

Over his 34 year career with General Motors Dr. Jandeska has been dedicated to the technical advancement of materials and processes, with emphasis on powder metallurgical technology for automotive applications. He is past President of the Center for Powder Metallurgical Technology, former Chairman of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Powder Metallurgy Committee, and former Chairman of the Metal Powder Industries Technical Board. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

"PRIMA's objective is to help fill an international void in experienced external talent in the net shape powder forming industry," added Petrilli.

Petrilli has over twenty years in the powder metal and automotive industries and has served in the capacities of President, C.E.O., C.O.O. and global management team member of several industry companies. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
